2019 — Present
HackNEHS was a New England Hackathon built and run by Phillips Exeter and Andover students in 2016 and 2017, which then lost focus once the founders graduated, and did not hold a competition in the past three years. Joining up with a persistent group of Andover students, I have been working to make this contest a reality again for 2020, running with free admission for the benefit of the students in the general Massachusetts area.
I was in charge of revamping the site, as well as the outreach to potential sponsors and minority outreach programs. The event ran with an amazing turnout of over 200 students on October 12, 2019 and we’re hoping to have another successful hackathon, either virtually or in-person, in 2020.
